Join host Corey Crisan as he is joined by Blade sports writer Nicholas Piotrowicz and University of Toledo football team physician Dr. Roger Kruse to discuss the Mid-American Conference's return to football on Nov. 4. Corey and Nick discuss the rise of Bowling Green State University quarterback Matt McDonald, an outlook on the East and West divisions, and what the players and coaches are saying about playing through the coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Kruse was pivotal in the MAC's return, as he serves as the chair of the conference's medical advisory group. He gave the recommendation for the MAC to return after testing for the coronavirus because readily available and affordable. Dr. Kruse joins the show to talk about the discussions behind the return, what the conference needs to do to ensure a safe season, and he gives his opinion on how college football had handled a return.
